The new WRX sedan
So who likes WRX's. Thses cars are the most awesome handling cars in the world if youu ask me. I have driven many cars but nothing has the road holding abilities like these cars. The entire layout of the car sceams performance. Let me just explain why the Subaru layout just works. We all know that porsche's are brilliant sports cars, well the subaru layout is the same. The porshe and the subaru share the same engine and basic drive line just around the other way. The boxer engine which they both share sits flat in the engine bay, therfore lowering the centre of gravity. What makes the subaru even better than most prshesis that they are all-wheel drive and this makes a huge difference in tthe wet. To understand the impreza turbo you just have to drive it, it's so responsive and beautiful.
Now as we move on from the four door sedan or wagone layout and into a compact hatch and larger sedan layout things may change. The impreza has been split between everyday praticality and sports performance. The new sedan simply sucks. it looks shocking and the hatch is awkward and mismatched. I feel sorry for all those die hard subaru fans because they are facing a brick wall. They used to say that once you go subaru you never go back, but i think some will have no choice. I guess the hatch in STI form is decent looking but so would a yaris if it had huge guards, turbo and four wheel drive. What are we going to do with you subaru.
