This document was written when the first version of this site was attempted, that was a few years ago. When I first attempted to make the site own my own with no help I wrote this. I'm publishing it as a reminder of what the past idea was... So enjoy reading it and remember it’s not necessarily what the site is going to be about now.

Mission statement for Spoiler Car .com

Premise / Concept: Online Car Magazine Community.

Spoiler car is a website based on performance cars, products and events to do with shows cruises and races. The site will focus on giving as much information on these types of cars. We will cover all types of cars that are popular in the cult and performance car market

We will section the site into areas for easy navigation. These sections are:

 

-         All types of performance cars with specs and reviews

Types of car manufacturers will be sectioned on a single page. The types of cars will then be set out with pictures. When you click on the type of car you are interested in you will be shown a range of pictures of the car. The different types of these cars will be displayed. The specifications of the cars will be displayed. Also we have reviews and any other relevant documentation

-         Performance modifications for all cars

This section will be cut into sections depending on what type of cars they have. It will then be cut into sections for example body kits, wheels and tires, engines, gearboxes etc: Inside these sections we will have manufacturers of these parts, reviews on parts, specifications, pictures and other relevant information.

-         Meets, shows and races

This section will focus on club meets, other websites and cruises It will have reviews of these meets websites and cruises as well as photos

It will have information’s reviews and photos of shows.

It will have information on racing and how to get into it. It will have information on club and professional races. Racing club contacts and how to get your car on the race track. It will have a race schedule, reviews and results as well as photos

-         Free Classifieds for cars and parts

This will have free posting of cars for sale. Members will be able to have photoes , car specs and other information on their cars as well as contact details.

-         Gallery for cars and members cars

Photos of performance cars, show cars but mainly focusing on members cars and reviews on their cars as well as specs

-         Free registered membership

Free membership offers free classifieds and posting of your car and photos as well as access to the forum

-         forums and live chat 

ø       The forum is for members to talk to each other about cars and related topics. Community Forums - Come to spoilercar.com and talk to your new and old online friends about anything and everything relating to performance cars, and related  topics. If you have an opinion on cars or companies or parts and products, or you would like a place to freely talk about anything regarding performance cars, no matter what the subject matter is? Then the multiple forum topics on spoilercar.com should provide you with a place to express yourself.

Forum Policy: If there is something in your post that is not acceptable it might get edited by one of the moderators in extreme cases, we will not delete your posts or topic threads at spoilercar.com. Unacceptable behaviour includes but is not limited to; swearing, trolling, making personal attacks on other users or companies. When a forum thread becomes too heated and has gone off the original topic of the post then the threads may be locked from fervour posts by one of the moderators.
Moderator Policy: Registered users may be elected or volunteer to become a moderator in the forums, approval is based on the individuals actions and words prior to being elected as a moderator.

Live Java IRC Chat - Spoilercar.com features a live web-based (Java client) chat system in which you can chat with real people in our exclusive to spoilercar chat room. The client allows logged in users to join other chat channels that are related to performance cars. To join another chat channel while talking in the spoilercar channel type: /join then the channel name. (Please note to use this feature you must have a Java enabled web browser, go to www.java.com)

-         How too/ tech/specs/tutorials

This will include posted faqs and info on how to mod your car, specs on modifications and increases they make. Also members posting how toos and suggested mods and how to do them.
